What Connecticut Businesses Can Reopen on May 20th?

According to Governor Lamont's Press Release on April 30th, a number of Connecticut businesses and locations will be able to reopen on May 20th under the first phase of the state's reopening plan if a number of metrics, like a continued decline in COVID-19 hospitalizations, are met.

The governor said his Reopen Connecticut Advisory Group has suggested the following for phase one reopening on May 20:

  • Restaurants (outdoor only - no bar areas)

  • Remaining retail

  • Offices (continue work from home where possible)

  • Personal services (hair & nail only)

  • Museums, Zoos (outdoor only)

  • Additional outdoor recreation (e.g., camping, mountain biking)

  • University research programs

💜 Amber's Pampered Pets is considered an 'essential business' and has remained open to other essential workers during this pandemic. We have always taken our precautions to make sure that we wash our hands, sanitize and wear our masks before, during and after every home visit. We are remaining open to all of those that are in need of our help during this time. We miss ALL of our clients and hope that we can get back to 'normal' VERY soon and be able to open 100% to any and ALL! 💜
